A great fantasy series to add to your collection
I was hesitant at the opening to this book as I thought it was going to be super edgy, but I was pleasantly surprised. The plot and stylistic choice of breaking up that chapters was wonderful. Each end of a chapter would leaving me so hung up on that character that I had to keep reading and then the cycle continued. There was wonderful world building in this novel whether it be the actual world or the lore that surrounded the story. I also thought the characters were pretty well thought out and stood out in their own way. I do think that there could be a change when it came to word choice or maybe a bit more editing at times but otherwise I really enjoyed this book and I'm planning on purchasing the next.
