I’ve read a few Why Choose romances and quite a few have been excellent. Bummed about this one though and nearly DNF’d it.

I found it incredibly difficult to get into, and Jamie’s character is not endearing in any way. It’s the slimmest of plots - needing a boyfriend as her mother wants her married off, and all of a sudden three brothers of her best friend are all in insta-love with her. And always have been. Oh and there’s a set of twins …. Because of course there are (insert eye roll).

Basically there was insufficient plot between the sex scenes and unfortunately some of those were really stilted and felt cobbled together.

Bummed as this is Australian?
