Star Wars: The Living Force by John Jackson Miller

** Gifted copy, all opinions are my own

A bit overdue, but here is my review of The Living Force now that I finished. Star Wars The Living Force by John Jackson Miller tells the story of the Jedi Council as they embark on a journey to Kwenn, prior to the events of The Phantom Menace. I'm not particularly fond of the councilors, nor care much about them but they are portrayed here in a different light compared to other media. It's refreshing the way they are shown in more mundane situations and how their personality and characteristics show themselves in those situations. It allowed for a bit of comedy through the book, which I found interesting. I also liked the way other characters raised concerns about the Jedi practices and how it serves as a kind of foreshadowing to their fall.

The Living Force is an interesting book and I recommend it if you like to learn more about a big cast of characters. Thank you to Random House Worlds for gifting me this copy.
