I watched the show before reading the book, I didn’t know it was book before watching the show. I knew nothing about the show/story before watching it, so in the end I was totally caught off guard and distraught by the plot twist. It hurt all the same reading the book too, definitely not as intense because I knew what was coming, but it made the earlier all that more sad knowing what I know now. I do wish Johnny and Mirren had a bigger part in the books as they do in the show. Overall it was a really good book, I love the way the book is set up and really wished I would have read it before watching the show. However I am very excited to dive into Family Of Liars next!
