I'm not sure this author is for me...
This is my second time trying Josh Malerman and it was just a meh experience. For such a short book, I found myself quite bored and I kept getting distracted.
I liked the setting and the lore. I also liked how it read like one of those creepy stories on YouTube, that most of us know and love. However, that's about it. The writing was okay, the creep factor was barely there and I didn't get enough creature feature.
A quick and easy read but nothing spectacular about it.
