I'm always worried about reading a new series because I typically fall in love with the first book, because of the new characters and whole new worlds, but then the next books in the series tend to feel repetitive, so I don't enjoy them as much.
This is not one of those series! In The Valley of Horses you're introduced to new characters and cultures and so much more, I adored it! It was like reading a whole new story.
Definitely worth the read! They're long but I find the details are worth it.
