I understood Scarlett... it’s infuriating to feel like you’re not being heard. To feel as though your life is limited by what other people want from you. In many ways Maverick was the man that freed her. Speaking of Maverick LOVED him. Jealous and possessive alpha, sign me tf up. I love that sex didn’t dominate this book. I love a good MC with it’s healthy dose of smut but that wasn’t all to it.
