Found out the author was a zio and it turned me off. The beginning of the book gave me SATC vibes. But it quickly became dark. I think it was unnecessarily explicit. *SPOILER* Especially the one scene w Anders’ fantasy?? I guess it was it was trying to show his true nature and that the reader shouldn’t ship him w Cleo but it was very weird?? I think everyone figured Cleo and Frank were bad for each from the jump. So ending the book in “they’re better off without each other” manner didn’t do much for me.
