Truly loved this book. Mary is such a strong female protagonist at a time when women were meant to be seen and not heard. I felt like Masie and her Penny Dreadfuls at certain points when I imagined the worst was going to happen. I beg you to read the author’s note. The last paragraph 👩‍🍳💋
