Opium and Absinthe by Lydia Kang

4.0

I enjoyed this book. It had some twists that I didn't see coming, though I was close to right when it came to the big reveal. The drug emphasis in the story was pretty fascinating and not something I've seen done so blatantly before. I enjoyed the wide cast of characters - enough to keep things interesting but not so many that they get muddied in the mind. I look forward to trying out more books by this author, I enjoyed her style of writing immensely.
