The Bachelor Auction by Rachel Van Dyken

4.0

This book was awesome!

I absolutely adored the Cinderella theme that the book was written on.

Jane runs a cleaning business that she has taken over from her father. She lives with her two mean sisters, Essence and Esmeralda, who rely on Jane to do all the cooking and cleaning. Sound familiar?

Brock Wellington, helps run his grandfather's business and basically does anything he can to make his grandfather happy. It doesn't matter that he's not happy running the business, it's what is expected of him and it keeps his Grandfather happy.

Brock's grandfather needs to keep the shareholders happy and because Brock's two twin brothers are always in the limelight for the wrong things, Brock's grandfather decides to hold a bachelor auction. Brock being one of the bachelors on the block.

There were a few times during the book that I wanted to smack Brock upside the head but in the end he redeemed himself.

This was an emotionally packed book that had both characters really dealing with the demons of their past. You learn a lot about the reasons why they act the way they do which really kept intrigued.

I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read the next in the series!
