The Cure of Souls by Phil Rickman

3.0

Merrily Watkins is a great character and in this fourth outing her vulnerability as mother of a feisty teenager, as a devout Christian, and a woman with her own passions is exposed as she has to confront her most troubling case.
A manipulative public relations promoter has inherited a hop kiln which appears to be haunted, while a property developers step daughter appears to have brought Jane ( Merrily's dtr) into a dangerous supernatural game, the combination leaves Merrily into inevitable dark places.
A really enjoyable series and looking forward to book 5.
