The Far Pavilions by M.M. Kaye
4.0
This book was a journey... I don't know how else to put it. A long, engaging journey through all India, through history of it, through one man's life, through different cultures...
It was a long read and now it seems strange that they went on with their lives with me being unable to follow them. I grew so accostumed to this book.
This is not a book that made my emotions swirl, and there were only 2 parts where I unpatiently read forward due to action, but still I'm happy that I read it, that I witnessed this wonderful tale in the historical and cultural background so good described.
