First of all, Jack and Annie were in a ripe mood for this one because they were both cracking me up. The sibling attitude dialogue was strong in this one.

Penny the Penguin is so stinking cute and I love the message that taking care of someone else can also be good for yourself - thinking about times in my life I’ve really struggled but knowing I had my dog to take care of was a bright spot.

I love that this one had an adult who was like hello? Where are your parents?? I can’t believe you’re just here alone??? I’m surprised it took so many books for that interaction but it was so funny and so real.
