Ok I am a huge fan of PNR books. I went in with my eyes wide opened and let me say Jessica did not disappoint. Lenore and Lycus are the two sides to the same coin. They couldn't be anymore different if they tried. I mean she is a "good" witch and he is a demon. Opposites really do attract and these two characters are no different. Lenore the naive young lady unsure of what is going to happen to her when she is for this generations sacrifice. She is not one to conform and tends to be a little rebellious. I love that about her. She is tenacious and refuses to be brow beaten. Lycus is a strong hero who just can not understand the pull that is happening between him and the witch. Being a demon is something he thrives upon until the little witch entered his world. Now I am not going to get into too much more of the plot because I don't want to give anything away, but the little twist that is thrown are way where these two are concerned was just the icing on the cake for me. I am hoping that there will be more stories in this series, because I NEED Minos' story... Ok I would also like to see Ace get his feet knocked out from under him as well.
