Reviving the Hawthorn Sisters by Emily Carpenter

Did not finish book. Stopped at 44%.

I loved another book by this author, so I was excited when I found this book available on prime reading. Unfortunately, either this book was never for me, or I should have read it back when I first downloaded it because it would have held more interest for me back then. The story was written beautifully, but I couldn't connect to the characters and found that I just wasn't excited to see where the story was going. That's a shame, because of how much I loved Burying The Honeysuckle Girls. I don't think this is a bad book at all, it just wasn't captivating me the way I'd been hoping or expecting it to.
