I'm Straight, Right? by John Harris, Romeo Alexander
2.0

I really wanted to like this, a best friend's to lovers is something I really enjoy. But this books feels... Weird.
There's not something specific, the feelings and thoughts of the characters are over explained, a lot of times in the same page or the dialogue and thoughts are basically the same and you have to read it twice.
Also, I didn't bought the fact that Dean and Sloane were best friends, to me it feel like Dean and Marco were, that trough me off the story.
The story feels repetitive too, I didn't cared much about the military side, but three times Dean and Sloane fight or do something that weird them out, they don't talk, they spend too many time thinking the same over and over again and then they apparently are ok and then they're not. It was exhausting.

Bit everything was bad, I did enjoyed some interactions of them and the sex scenes weren't bad, but that didn't saved the story for me.
