so bad
I really wanted to like it, but it was just so bad. Larkin was literally so stupid and he continue to be stupid till the very end he literally had no development. Oh my Lord, and all of those rape scenes literally felt useless like they added nothing to the story at all like they added no depth or development to larkin it literally just was there, and it was so graphic if you’re going to put something like that in a book and make it so graphic at least let it be you know useful to the plot I don’t know that was just so bad like reading. That was just I don’t know what I just read like what even was that about it like the severity of what happened to Larkin his reactions to it did not match up like how in the world was he just like back to normal with jade after all of that like I do enjoy the beginning of the book but after the first rape scene, it seriously went downhill for me and I’m used to dark romance but you can’t even call this a dark romance just because you add,rape doesn’t make it a dark romance there was nothing dark about the romance if that makes sense like oh my goodness that was terrible in fact, I love dark romance. It’s the majority of the books that I read, but this was just terrible.
