Dylan by Jaymin Eve, Tate James

5.0

The men in this book are fantastic. After reading Dark Legacy The Complete Series, I'm a fan of their fictional characters. However, this book focuses mainly on Dylan and his story of falling for the girl of his dreams and some surprises. This book is dark, gritty, action-packed, emotional, and has a steamy romance. I loved the damaged mc Brooklyn and watching her find her strength. I love how supportive Dylan is and caring even though he is all Alpha Male. I enjoyed every part of this story as much as Dark Legacy The Complete series. This was another fantastic story, and I can't wait for more in this series.

I love that this book begins shortly after the mega-ending of the series. We start with Brooklyn; she has had forbidden trysts with Dylan and seems addicted to him. She has a somewhat damaged family dynamic. This book is mostly from her pov, but I know this will get better and deeper as the story progresses. This first chapter has a trigger warning this book is dark; don't read it if you can't handle a lot of twisted behavior.

That camp is something, but it makes sense in this Delta world. However, when Brooklyn's worlds come crashing together, I am surprised but her strength of will. Dylan and Brooklyn's story is just as twisted and dark as The Dark Legacy books. Wow, things were getting better before they went from bad to worse. This story is as emotional as it is action-packed. I love that after the devastating sequence of events, we get more Riley and Eddy and, of course.
The Delta Hiers. Dylan is a little angrier than he was in the last book, even toward Brooklyn. Oh, this book has some holiday vibes in it as well as winter ones.

If her guesses are accurate, this book gets much more complicated for Dylan. This book has a fabulous ending of true family and all the holiday feels to make you swoon. It was the perfect addition to the Dark Legacy storyline, and I can't wait to read Evan and Jasper's stories.
