dawngarrett 's review for:
Oliver Twist
by Charles Dickens
I started this with the lovely Penguin Clothbound but migrated to audiobook because I was drowning in the pages and the dark characters. I feel badly about that, but I struggled to enjoy this book reading it with my eyes. I kind of struggled with my ears, too, until today when I listened to more than half of it to the end. And then I loved it.
Sigh. What a tale.
