I did really enjoy this short story - it makes the waiting for the third book easier!
It's a stand alone story, which can be read without having to know the other books in the series, and without spoilers for those.
It was a entertaining read, with lots of action, and humor as usual with Lockwood books, but in my eyes not on the same level as the longer books.
That may be only due to the briefness of the story, I'm all for the big, epic stories, so I might not be the perfect reader for such a story.
Nevertheless I quite liked it, and everything that shortens the waiting for the next sequel is a good thing ;)
