The beginning of the book started strong and interesting but then devolved the longer it dragged on. FMC would not stop whining about her music career, she was also dumb about the woods in the beginning. And then the longer the book went on, the plot twists were predictably dumb like she knew MMC from the past and he’s a f-ing tree?? . The flashback memories dragged on and on and I guess that’s just the theme of the book. Dragged.
