I love this collection of stories; it opened my eyes to the dark/turning points from these authors’ lives. I read about an emergency doctor’s first time having to relay a young patient’s death to his family, smiled at the story where a gay couple was getting recognised by the legal system, teared up reading about the multiple, occasionally consecutive losses that another author had to suffer; these helped me to appreciate the decent life I had been born into. I only wished that these stories were shared more & for everyone else to give this a read.
