I can't get this book out of my head. An incredible combination of fantasy, heist adventure, romance, and drama that ranks this as one of my favorite books of the last few years. I'm in awe of author Leigh Bardugo's ability to fully sketch out 6 (six!!) main characters to such a degree. There's always one or two that feels less realized, but not here.
My favorite fantasy novels reveal character through action, and Six of Crows does just that. The rhythm of the plot is taut, perfectly paced, and makes for a breathless read and subsequent reread. I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel, and plan to check out Bardugo's other work as well.
