a ceaselessly grotesque and viscously misanthropic study of The Worst People living in The Worst Village Imaginable. the first half was strong, with some interesting themes and character motivations that i wish were explored better, because the second half really fell flat for me. the resolution, especially the last 5 pages or so, was just so rushed and honestly just didnt make much sense. came in feeling excited and eager to learn about this grim trainwreck of a place, but walked out just feeling a little disappointed.
