gswizzel 's review for:
The Iron Knight
by Julie Kagawa
I read this book cover to cover.
I needed to keep reading to know what would happen. This book is not at all what I expected - A STANDALONE ADVENTURE FOR ASH'S STORY, WHAT?!
Meghan was barely in this book, and at times I felt like I was just waiting to see her, but the realisation of this being Ash's tough journey in the pursuit of love and a future with Meghan was a hard-hitting one that also made me look internally.
Julie's ending of Shadow of the Fox gave me all the feels, I should have expected this book to hurt me and satisfy me in the same way.
While I preferred The Iron Queen more (because I love both Meghan's and Ash's dynamic together the most and they could finally have their moments in that book), this book is still absolutely outstanding, in my opinion.
