Amelia Anne Is Dead and Gone
by Kat Rosenfield
4.5 stars. There were a few parts when the descriptions were just drawn out to much and Becca was whining about life where she lived, but not interestingly enough. It's too bad the whole book couldn't have been written the way the last few chapters were. When I finished reading this book I was left hard pressed remembering that there were dull chapters that I had to plod through.
I loved the way Kat Rosenfield captured the way we all try to make sense of our world; he was right, she was wrong, he had it coming to him, she was never liked anyway. An us versus them thinking that slots people's actions into excuses for us trying to make sense of the pieces that enter into our world and the reasons why we can't or don't try to stop the pain in other people's lives.
Stay with this book.
