Twisted Marriage by Alessandra Torre
5.0

Before getting into this book, I did a quick re-read of Filthy Vows. I wanted to immerse again in Elle’s and Easton’s magic world where there’s a strong love between these two wonderful characters. I wanted to enjoy again the story of how they met and the first moments when they decided to amp up the hotness of their sex life. Then, once I got my fill, I started this book with full expectations of a great ride, and oh boy, did I get it. Erotically romantic, full of love and devotion, insecurities and feelings of unworthiness, it was a passionate multi-layered story that kept me up late into the night, finishing the story. (I also had a deadline for my review)

In the previous book, Elle was having sexual fantasies of sex with other men apart from her husband. These fantasies bothered her and made her feel guilty because she deeply loves her husband. Yet she felt she needed more. Easton, a former pro baseball player, who is now working as a wealth agent for professional athletes, is starting on his business and not doing as well as he did when he was playing pro baseball. He feels like he failed in giving Elle the flamboyant and luxurious life they had just started to have when he suffered his career-ending accident. So when he learns of Elle’s proclivities, he’s all for pleasing his wife and enters into the program whole-heartedly. They had a threesome with Aaron, Easton’s best friend and a close friend of Elle.

In this book, we have Elle and Easton dealing with the aftermath of this threesome. There’s guilt, incredible arousal, and some embarrassment. Clearly, they’re new at this life and are floundering around. Aaron was living with Elle and Easton for a while, then moved on to live with Chelsea, Elle’s best friend. Aaron was recently divorced and needed a place to stay while he sorted out his life. And now, these four very close long-time friends have a secret that Chelsea doesn’t share. Chelsea starts to behave strangely, Aaron and Elle have drifted apart, and Elle is getting a little paranoid about their threesome tryst becoming known by others. Elle and Easton are also struggling financially.

As they continue to discuss their new needs, feelings of inadequacy from Easton come up, Elle is worried about the effect this will have on her marriage, she’s worried about Easton’s feelings, misses Chelsea who is behaving strangely, and is still sorting out her feelings about this new world. Then an opportunity for selling a hugely expensive house falls in her hands, a sale that would solve a lot of their financial problems and she sets forth to seal the deal. The house owners turn out to be none other than Brad and Julie DeLuca, whom we know from Blind Innocence.

Needless to say, they add a huge load of hotness and kinkiness to our story and although the going gets very hot and hella erotic, it was still so full of love and devotion that it was beautiful. I loved the road that Elle and Easton travelled, because although there were insecurities, worries, and some disagreements, what shone strong all the time was their love and devotion. They were very strongly loyal to each other and ruthlessly honest with each other, deeply respectful of each other’s needs. There are other side stories that add more color to the story, some hysterical scenes, and of course, Wayland the huge dog who is convinced he’s a tiny little pup. It was entertaining, beautiful, erotic, naughty, heart-wrenching at times, funny other times, and I totally loved Elle and Easton.
