Since I adore the movies, I needed to give the books a try, and I’m glad I did.
This was a great slump buster, super cute, light plot, fast paced, Peter Kavinsky 💖💖
I do like the movies better, I feel the book was just waaay to YA and churchy, and yeeees I know they are 16!! Also, I hated Margo in the book?!?! She was a nasty biotch and Chris was right! Plus, I can’t staaaand the trope where mom dies and suddenly the dad reverts back to toddler stage and his daughters suddenly become his wife. It’s so fkn weird!?! I get helping out around the house, I don’t get being the other half of a responsible provider due when you’re just a godsdamned kid yourself.
