whatever niche corner of erotic fantasy i have stumbled into... i love it here. the cover art of this one does NOT do the story justice at all! but that title gets 100 points!

the premise is so fantiastical yet very much rooted in real-life experience in the most extreme way. maybe this is a whole new genre? sexy magical realism? psudeo-realistic fantasy?

Violet is so many of us... over-educated, over-qualified yet somehow unhireable in her field. Swimming in student debt and feeling the pressure of desperately needing money to sustain her life or move back in with her parents. She responds to a very conventional-sounding want ad and after going through a rigorous interview and screening process, finds out the actual job is anything but. the job is basically a "milk-maid" at a minotaur "milking" farm... the twist being that we are talking about bulls, not cows.

of course Violet *shockingly* falls for one of her clients and is forced to question her closed-mindedness and sheltered upbringing. Eventually, she opens her mind, legs, and cervix for the horned, hoofed, and extremely well-endowed Mr. Right.  the pretty woman of a new generation perhaps?

i very much wish there was about 70% more sex in this one. im guessing that considering its a story focused around sex work, potentially C.M. Nascosta wanted to show that there is more depth and substance to their relationship than just really amazing orgasms.

this one is just a whole lot of fun.
