I tandem read this book. At first, I really enjoyed the beginning part of the story but then I couldn’t get over the frustrating flaws in the writing. The constant lack of communication between Aly and Wyatt was unbearable. Aly’s character almost had too many flaws and needed to stop thinking she was broken. She would have a break through then go right back thinking she was unloveable. Given the story, I get it, but it was not fun to read. The narrator was just ok. I really which there was a separate male narrator instead of a woman that could do a female voice.
A big thing, please don’t go into this book thinking it’s romance. It reminded me of Emily Henry’s book. This is a contemporary romance with romance included. I would advice to I save money on reading this, unless you have Kindle Unlimited.
