In the Lives of Puppets is a perfect rainy day read. It starts off slow but once the plot gets going, I couldn’t put down the book. The characters made me laugh, cry, and gasp.
The choice to not focus on rebuilding “humanity” was a really interesting one! I thought for sure there would be an underground colony they discovered or that humans were secretly the Authority.
The love story was interesting and the fact that this was based off a fairy tale made the true loves kiss that much more romantic.
