Wow, I could not put this book down. It was non stop from beginning to end...the heartfelt emotions, humor, suspense, action, mystery, and se*ual tension 🔥🔥. The twists and turns kept twisting & turning 🤯.
The MCs, Flynn and Sebastian, were two broken souls with so much guilt weighing their heart down. But each took a different approach to their pain. They might have been complete opposites but they were exactly what the other needed. Flynn seeing beyond Sebastian's walls, to his true self, was exactly the acceptance Sebastian needed to stop living in darkness and embrace love. Sebastian making Flynn realize that he is much more than his past, helped Flynn to face his demons and start to heal. Their developing deep connection/feelings was written so beautifully, making me feel all their emotions along with them.
The MCs and their friends were an eclectic, loveable, & hilarious group of found family living in a creepy abandoned hotel with a very suspicious receptionist, a coffee maker that must not be fixed, a zombie ferret for a pet who liked to steal snacks, & a mystery guest that must not be mentioned.
All of the characters were fully developed and had their own personalities, adding much to the story. Their snarky interactions had me cracking up. It's all fun and games until it comes to their paranormal cases, then the enemy better watch out.
I need more!! I need to discover all those small intriguing secrets dropped in so casually throughout the story.
🧛 an angsty, touch-starved, stalker/saviour vampire
⛵ an Irish virgin who has been marked by a demon and won’t take no for an answer from a certain sexy vampire
💔 a sloooooow burn with all the pining
🔥 explosive sizzling scenes when the sparks ignite
😈 teaching vamp to sext (he becomes a pro)
🩸 bloodsucking & blood-soaked kisses
🏙️ London’s secret supernatural society
🔎 paranormal detectives
👚 a certain pair of chequered pajamas…that shouldn't be sexy but somehow are
