Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.

I've dropped this book twice in the span of just two weeks. I simply couldn't handle the subject matter. I never really think I'll be affected by things until I'm in the middle of them and I start feeling ill and I just have to stop. This has nothing to do with the way the story was told (it was amazing as far as I got) or the way the author handled the subject matter (it was tender and harsh and painful). It is all about me.
