Second read: March 2025 - still feel the same way except after reading both again I think I liked the first book better!
First read September 10-21, 2021: 4.5 stars ✨
I really enjoyed this book, even though I read it slowly because I was busy. The modern Jewish aspect really stood out and captured me, and made me want to read more books with that in it! I think this story was better than The Roommate, which surprised me!
My only complaint/half star loss was just the way the conflict came up, like you knew it was coming but it wasn’t fully explained I felt? Hard to say but it wouldn’t discourage me from recommending the book or eventually reading again! Can’t wait to see what else Rosie Danan writes.
