donnaburtwistle 's review for:
Pandemonium
by Lauren Oliver
I have been "saving" this book for two weeks now...trying to savour the moment when I could become a part of Lena's story again. I was not disappointed at all. Lauren Oliver delivers a stunning second installment of this series, one where we see just how strong Lena can be. Finding a kind of solace in the Wilds among her new friends, Lena is a part of a resistance against the city and the cure. Moving from past to present, each chapter treats its readers to the journey that Lena finds herself on. Closed off from her memories of Alex and Hana, she is forced to rely on other members of the Wilds, like Raven, for instructions and skills. When she is forced to survive alone with the city's leader's son, Lena must decide whether to be honest with him or lie. Julian is not whom she thought; could there be hope for him? Excellent action and intrigue, this novel was super. Now...just how long do I have to wait for the next book?
