I'm Still Here by Clélie Avit
3.0

I was really excited to read this book as it was originally written in French and translated to English. I feel it was translated fairly well.
The modern day Sleeping Beauty premise is what hooked me on this story. Thibault inadvertently meets comatose Elsa when he walked into the wrong room at a hospital trying to avoid his brother. He decides to continue visiting.
Elsa is finally feeling alive with her new visitor coming around. We do get to hear her thoughts while in her coma so the story does illustrate dual POVs.
Thibault was a different character. I was hoping to swoon over him, but it wasn't like that. It was easy enough to like him, but by the end the love he had for Elsa just didn't feel convincing to me.
I won't say how it ends, but I will say you have to read to the last page to even see how it does end. I think that was probably my biggest issue with this book. It would have easily been a 4 star read until the ending.
