Grumpy Gordon, how I do love you!
I've been waiting for this book since we first saw Gordon's reaction to seeing his ex-girlfriend, Riley, in Dirty Devil (Foster & Avery's story).
Riley has no intention of ever seeing Gordon again after he broke her heart 12yrs ago, but she ends up needing a job and the Devils' management team is in desperate need of an executive assistant.
Gordon has no intention of interacting with Riley after seeing her on the ice in a figure skating performance, not after she broke his heart 12yrs ago, but then his sister does him dirty hiring her as their new executive assistant.
As you can imagine, sparks fly frequently with these two, and the emotional rollercoaster I went on throughout this book was brilliant.
I love the entire Nashville Devils series, and am honestly sad it's come to an end.
I highly recommend this book, and all the other books in the series.
