The moral of this story?
Don't be a dick.
That's what it all boils down to. Katie is a successful restaurant owner and a train wreck in her own personal life. Through circumstance, Katie discovers some magical mushrooms that let her time travel into the past and fix her mistakes.
Of course, time travel always has repercussions.
I particularly enjoyed how the narrator of the story and Katie interact with each other. It definitely added a certain charm to the story.
The art was wonderful, warm and cute - the colors and panel layouts pulled me in and really, the overall packaging and presentation of this story are most certainly on par with O'Malley's previous work, the [b:Scott Pilgrim Bundle|8697402|Scott Pilgrim Bundle (Scott Pilgrim, #1-6)|Bryan Lee O'Malley|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1370020121s/8697402.jpg|13570065].
Definitely a nice break from all the 'normal' comics that I regularly read. Whatever normal means. I am more than happy to have this on my shelf and available to me to browse through whenever the mood strikes me.
