This one wasn't as good as the first. I should have known from the very beginning, when my favorite character from book one was killed off that I should have left this one alone.
This is another one of those stories that could have been wrapped up in one book. Most of what occurred in this book once again, centered around the baby sister. With everything the two of these adults went through, I think the fact that neither of them could muster up the courage to simply say, "I Love You" was utterly ridiculous. Then to for Nikolai to lie to Belle and tell her that she'd lost the baby when she really didn't was the cruelest action of this entire series. Completely unwarranted and did nothing to the storyline but frustrate me.
This is one of those times that I wish I had read a few of the reviews first. At the end, there was an opportunity to view a bonus chapter concerning the couple. I respectfully declined the invitation. I simply did not care.
