The Noble Hustle: Poker, Beef Jerky, and Death
by Colson Whitehead
I liked this a lot, despite the fact that I don't know much about poker. I only read it because Colson Whitehead is so brilliant. He portrays himself with a bleak, Louie-esque persona. A lot of other reviewers seem to have a problem with that, but I read most of this on a Megabus, so I felt a perfect harmonizing of book and environment.
