Rama II by Gentry Lee, Arthur C. Clarke

1.0

I typically can't allow myself to not finish a book, particularly if I'm going to write a review on it. However, not only could I not finish this book but I also feel burdened to warn others about it. This book is a dramatic departure from the first (which I loved) in terms of quality and themes. The book attempts to be more character driven but ends up boring and meandering with chapters devoted to meaningless facts that it doesn't come back to. I decided to stop and just look up what happens in the rest of the story. From everything I have seen and heard from other people as well, I have made the right decision.
