Powerless
by Elsie Silver
fast-paced
Sloane and Jasper were just 10/10. So far this is my favorite out of the Chesnut Springs books.
The plot was nice, I loved Sterling as a character, so dumb, so punchable. He was a nice juxtaposition to Jasper. Sloan’d dad? Jail. Your daughter is a prima ballerina and you need more control? Get a grip man.
And for Jasper - that boy blamed himself more than he should’ve and I’m glad he has Sloane to tell him when it’s uncalled for.
Excuse me Elsie, but the smut?! Jesus. Why so good, so unexpected for a friends to lovers book. My jaw dropped multiple times when Jasper started telling Sloane what to do, that was hot.
