Though I had read Little Women (and Good Wives as it’s now typically published as one volume) before, I had not red Little Men and Jo’s Boys before. It was incredibly nostalgic and completely fitting with the original. You will get to know and love new characters while still keeping up with the beloved characters from the first book. There were some unexpected heartbreaks, and certainly some parts that feel a little out dated now. Plenty of moralizing as is typical of the time it was written, but it can all be forgiven as these are classic novels. These were the perfect before bed reads and now I’m not sure what I will do!
