TJR does it again...and again and again.

I devoured this book in a weekend. It was the perfect summer escape. The descriptions of Malibu were incredible and I was picturing myself driving down PCH. I love how seamlessly TJR moves between different storylines between 1980s and 1960s. I love a dual storyline and she absolutely nailed it. It felt kind of like a continuation of Daisy Jones and the Six and that rock era but new characters.

I instantly fell in love with the Rivas siblings and was fascinated to learn more and I couldn't stop turning each page to see what would happen next. The flow was effortless similarly to Evelyn Hugo. This book entices you right away and takes you on a journey. Nina's character development finally got there and I'm so glad it did. I would love a sequel to this book with an update on the Rivas siblings or even just Nina as she takes on her new life.

Now that I know Carrie Soto has her own book coming out I relished in the pieces of the book that she was mentioned in.
