This book was quite different from most LDS books because it deals with the repentance/conversion process of the main character. The LDS family services parts of the book are very touching. I thought it could have had a little more story for the love-interest ending of the book, but overall it was a really good story. Makes you appreciate a lot in your life. I would recommend it for readers mature enough to handle the abuse, drug and adoption topics in the book.
