Okay sooooooo I absolutely LOVED this book. I read it in 2 days. The buildup for the spicy scenes damn near TOOK ME OUT. But ugh it was SO worth it. The plot was chefs kiss 🫶🏽 I hate a “misunderstanding” trope and there was a lot of that with the “is she?” “Is she not?” Going on with the mate situation BUT I could overlook it due to the fact that this book kept me laughing and interested with everything  else happening. Misery (first of all LOVE the name choice) HILARIOUS! She was funny throughout the whole book, and it wasn’t that overbearing humor, but the genuine “I have never dealt with my trauma so I turn everything into humor” and it worked very well. Alas, there is always ONE thing from every book I’ve read so far that pisses me off, and with this book it was the very end when they didn’t give us the MATING RITUAL. 🙄
