Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi

3.0

I flew through this series, and while this was a predictable conclusion to the original trilogy I rather enjoyed it. Mafi's plotline might not be groundbreaking but I like the way that she describes her world and the way that Juliette process things.

I came to love Warner, and I was really happy with that ending, I'm hesitant to read the second trilogy because I don't want it to all be undone. I have no use for Adam, he turned out to be a giant toddler, alpha male and I hated him by the end of it. That's not me saying what Warner did was justified, this is just in general about Adam's man-baby behaviour. Like he couldn't get passed the fact that they broke up even though it was a month ago, it was ridiculous the way he was acting.

Also, this is the only book where I actively like Juliette, it took us awhile but we got there girlie!! so proud of you!!! This was the kind of girl I was hoping we'd see in the second book but it took a little longer. I want to read the next three to be able to see the new and improved badass Juliette, I'm hoping Mafi doesn't pull a fast one on my love interest wise.

I almost wish I'd read these when they were most popular, I'm not a huge dystopian girl anymore but I would've ate these UP years ago. Oh well, I'm flying through them now!
