Nobody's Fool by Harlan Coben
4.0
dark mysterious medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Packed with Coben’s signature wit and smarmy main character charm, and littered with Easter eggs of places and characters from Coben’s long backlist. Listed as a sequel of sorts, it’s more a stand-alone page turner that revisits a side character from a previous “Fool” titled adventure. Though one of the major plot points makes absolutely zero sense as far as why it’s happening, the story is still a good read with great prose and endless sarcasm.

Thank you to the publisher for an advanced copy of this novel.
