I really liked Lan, her character is nicely juxtaposed with Zen and the reveal of her back story was intriguing. The theme of how using incredible acts of violence against colonial oppressors slowly strips their humanity away is an interesting moral dilemma given that revolution will always be violent, but what is too far.
